Do Your Goals Evolve?

Why is it that there are so many great ideas, goals, and intentions, but so few of them results in long term improvements, alternatives, and approaches? Do you constantly review and evaluate your personal goals and attitudes, and make the tweaks, modifications, or changes that are needed? How do you develop your goals, and how should a leader develop goals? The most essential consideration regarding goal setting is that one must recognize that a goal is derived from either a personal or organizational vision or mission, and must be something that motivates one to persist and persevere, while remaining open to alternative approaches. These must be consistently and constantly reevaluated and reviewed, because neither an individual or an organization exists in a static world, and therefore they must either evolve and adapt, or risk becoming either irrelevant, or at the very best, less important or meaningful than previously. Only when we evolve in our perspectives are we able to transform even the most important goals to meaningful and effective action.
1. Most of the time, we either make a conscious or subconscious decision between being proactive versus procrastinating. Few individuals recognize that they are procrastinating, and generally resort to reasoning that supports their program of avoiding change. Excuses (and the reality is that procrastination is simply the massive accumulation of a disease I call,"excusitis,") are almost always a debilitating and weakening behavior, while often feeling comfortable and easier at the present time, nearly always deliver longer term weakening and are somewhat destructive. Only individuals or leaders who expand their comfort zone to becoming and maintaining a proactive mindset and approach, are true leaders, because effective leadership necessitates well - reasoned and properly planned risks. The only leader who thinks that he avoids risk is the procrastinator, and that approach inherently brings on the greatest risks of all, which include lack of being prepared, no contingency planning and the inevitable diminishment of relevancy.
2. How do you set your goals? Are these goals truly yours (in other words, things that have motivating and essential meaning and significance to you, and will motivate you to persist and persevere when others will give up), or are you simply taking what you believe to be the easier course of following the apparent presently popular route? Which of Robert Frost's infamous "roads" do you opt to take, when you need to make a decision? When do you decide the course, and do you do so proactively or reactively?
Meaningful goal setting is an essential component in growing as an individual or a leader! However, unless we realize that real goals must constantly be tweaked and evolve proactively, rather than waiting until they have to!

John Maxwell - Failing Forward - Audiobook Full

I do love this book because getting to the top without some setbacks or failures is really impossible and the more this is taught the better as there is no magic formula for success but if you keep going time will win out.

The Knowing-Doing Gap - Why Don't We Do What We Know How To Do?

In a recent workshop we were reviewing some of the ground rules before we began with the day's lessons. I wrote in huge letters I A K T and asked the group to consider putting aside their IAKT.
IAKT stands for I already know that. And, in many cases it is absolutely true. How many time management courses, supervisory skills refreshers, or goal setting workshops must a person do in the course of a stint with a company? I always say that repetition is key, however, what about doing what we already know how to do?
If we already have the skills, talent, and knowledge to do almost any task required of us in our jobs or personal lives, is that enough? You've had all the best sales training, can list the steps of closing the sale front and backwards, and yet our sales sheet still suffers. You've been to ump-teen management trainings with certifications hanging on the wall, yet you still have that acute problem with one or two employees' performance.
On the flip side, why do we continually do things that produce results we don't want? Prime example - losing weight. So we say we want to lose a few pounds and our doctor is on our case about it too. We really want this. Then we end up at a friend's birthday bash and down a piece or two of cake and ice cream, too. Our friend says "I thought you were on a diet." "I am." "Then why'd you eat all that cake." "I don't know." And, it is true - most of us DON'T know why we do the things that we know will get us results we don't want. Oh my!
When the going gets tough, how do the tough keep going? There seems to be something that stops us in our tracks, just when we think we're sailing along doing fine.
There is such a something. The cause of our problem in not doing (or doing) what we says we want lies in paradigms, or habitual ways of thinking. Paradigms are neither good nor bad; they just are our mode of thinking. They can stop us in our tracks or keep us poking along at 20 miles an hour when we could actually run along at Mach 10!
We need to change our paradigms if we're not getting results we want. Change the paradigm, change the result. Once you understand how your paradigm functions, then you can start taking control of your thinking and the subsequent results you obtain.
What's a paradigm?
Paradigms are your mindsets; your ideas, the habits that your brain has developed over the years. You look at the world through glasses that are tinted with your paradigms. I have ski goggles that have a yellow tint so that the mountain terrain is enhanced and I can see where I am going much more clearly. Likewise, a pair of UV sunglasses block out some of the rays that we don't want. However, if I have glasses that are totally opaque - I am really stuck! So like a filter, our paradigms can let in or block out - what are we missing, what are we refusing to see, what do we imagine seeing that stops us due to our paradigms?
Paradigms in and of themselves are neutral - not good, not bad. If your paradigms are positive like my yellow tinted ski goggles that let me go wherever I want in the snow, you will have a happy, growth-oriented life, a healthy self-image, and the ability to adapt successfully to changes, upsets, and unforeseen events. On the other hand, negative paradigms can keep you stuck in old ways of thinking that can be very limiting.
How to change your paradigms? It takes thought, faith, an open mind, and repetition.
• Write down one thing that you have not yet resolved in your life. Perhaps it is a goal, a dream, a hope or wish. Write it in detail.
• Write down connections that you associate to this thing; everything you think about it, good and bad, everything that the thought of it brings to your mind. Try using a mapping process - write the thing in the middle of a page and write the connections around it. When you feel like you've come up with an exhaustive number of connections, look at what your mind has shown you. These are your paradigms.
• Highlight and focus on the most powerful paradigms, the ones that have the biggest negative impact. Ask yourself why and why again. Really check your beliefs on it.
• Finally, now that you know what your paradigm is for this scenario, write an affirmation that will help you to change the current paradigm something that is the opposite. For example, if your paradigm is you'll never be able to quit your job and start that dream business because you're scared of going bankrupt, your affirmation might be:
I am so happy and grateful now that I am working full time in my business, serving my perfect customers and money comes to me on a continual basis through multiple sources. I now have all that I want.
• Write your affirmation on a card and repeat it daily, as many times as possible. In time, you'll begin to notice yourself thinking and acting in a different way.
Now you have a better understanding of why we KNOW what to do to obtain greater results but seldom actually DO it. To learn more on changing your paradigms, go get the full guide at http://www.millerinstitute.com

Gaining Back Lost Confidence

Gaining back is repossessing something that already belongs to you and was taken away from you by somebody or through circumstance. It may be wealth, trust, confidence, faith among others. One example is gaining back trust from parents who had lost it from you after you did something they did not approve.
Trust is the essential part in any relationship. It takes time to regain it. Trust cannot be taken for granted or misused. When a relationship breaks due to lack of trust, the involved parties should involve a specialist to reconcile them. It is gained through one believing that whatever his or her partner does is right. Having a little bit of doubt marks the beginning of mistrust. One should therefore have enough appreciation and understanding towards what his or her partner does.
Confidence on the other hand is something that ought to be treasured. It is gained through small experiences in life. Many people especially the youth fear and are unable to talk in public just because of lack of confidence. This is mainly because they have feeling of failure, which hit their confidence levels. Confidence is something that one is not born with and thus, one should work towards gaining it.
The following measures should ensure that one gain back confidence after losing it.
1. Consider points in your life where you found out that you do not have confidence and write down. After writing them down, try to work on them to improve the confidence levels.
2. Do an examination of your confidence. Being honest ensures that one stand by his or her points and is confidence enough to prove and defend them. Lies and dishonesty makes ones conscience judge him or her thus low level of confidence in oneself.
3. Ensure that you associate yourself with good and positive people. These make one to appreciate their nature and character thus building confidence to them. For instance, dealing with professionals makes one view himself or herself as a profession thus gaining professional confidence.
4. Volunteer your time to do something that builds your confidence e.g. volunteering to counsel young people on the effects of drug abuse. This builds your confidence in addressing the public.
5. Seek advice and guidance from professional and qualified people. They give one enough information on how to improve their confidence levels.
6. You should set realistic goals that are achievable. This makes one confident that he or she will accomplish them.

Believe In You

With the Christmas season approaching, I thought of all the happy families that will be gathering to share new memories with one another that will last a lifetime. For many, this is a great time of year for laughter and good cheer. For others, it will be a down time, one of discouragement and hopeless nights.
For those who are struggling right now, I wanted to offer a list of some thoughtful, soul-searching questions. Perhaps to restore some faith and confidence in yourself because after all, down deep inside I think you still believe in you!
Don't Isolate.
We are not perfect people. We all have problems that we struggle with. We've created lists of things that we love and hate to do, while we walk about with some silly habits we've picked up along the way. We are complex and have a lot of issues to work through. So find a buddy, a friend to share with because we are who we are and we need people.
Know Who You Are and What Makes You Happy
Can you describe yourself quite easily and quickly or do you need time to contemplate what you're going to say? Because describing yourself is not about your good looks but it's in knowing who it is you are and what it is that you like to do. So, describe what interests you and makes you happy. Do you make time for your hobbies or does it annoy you that you have so very little free time?
What Are You Good At?
Hopefully, you've found time to develop and explore your creative side. A little exercise can benefit the body and your mind to keep the creative juices flowing. Seriously though, finding your niche will foster confidence and give yourself a reason to be proud of ones self.
Why Are You Here?
I wonder if you have found meaning and purpose to your life. You do have value and worth, you know. Listen to your heart and pay attention to those gut feelings. If you believe in yourself and know you are loved, then you will find great satisfaction in loving others. Go meet some new people and share your ideas. Be encouraged and offer inspiration to others.
How To Believe In Yourself
In my younger days when I was carefree and discovering new lands, I thought I could do anything. I had written lots of stories in school and created bucket lists of things I wanted to do before a certain age. Some of my dreams have come true and many of my lists were unrealistic. But little by little, each and every day I've discovered improvement in my piano playing with daily discipline. The same is true with exercise and nutrition routines. Do you feel that you are really living life and experiencing it to the fullest? Are you proud of yourself? If not, then make a change today. Rediscover yourself by adding value to your life in believing in yourself.
You can maintain a healthy, positive, fulfilling approach to your piano playing. Be sure and stop by http://LadyDpiano.com and sign up for my free newsletter.

“Remote Control Romance”

Do you think men are “complicated?”

If you do, you’re not alone. Most women seem to think that men should come with an instruction manual…
Or that getting a man to be “romantic” is as hard as getting lasting peace in the middle east.
But thousands of women are discovering that waking up the “secret romantic” in their men is as easy as hitting a few buttons on their cell phone and sending a few “special” messages that have been proven again and again to work wonders.

Why Men Aren’t Romantic

The fact is, most men secretly crave romance at least as much as you do… but they’re either too distracted, too emotionally closed off, or too shy to tell you how they really feel or to sweep you off your feet.
But simply by using a few text messages sent from your average cell phone you can give him permission to be “unapologetically romantic”… to open up and tell you how he really feels, and to take you back in a “Relationship Time Machine” so you love each other (and lust after each other) like you did when you first met.

Incredible Video

If you want to learn more, go watch this short (but eye-opening) video by relationship expert Michael Fiore. In the video you’ll learn the real reason romance “dies” in most relationships…
The 3 things your man needs from you in order to “open up” to his secret romantic desires…
And how to use tiny little text messages to turn your guy into a bonafide “Prince Charming,” even if he’s a total “Romantic Numbskull” now.

This “Text The Romance Back” method has been featured on The Rachael Ray Show and has helped tens of thousands of women around the world. It sounds shocking, but it really does work.

Overcome Shyness - Two Easy Ways To Get Rid Of Nervousness

In our modern culture, everyone is focused on becoming more social, popular, and liked--since all of these personality traits come with many benefits. Extroverted people generally have more friends, fun and success than introverts. They also tend to suffer from loneliness and depression less. Becoming more outgoing and social is about living life to the fullest, unafraid to express yourself or go after what you want in life. Since being extroverted has so many benefits to it, it makes sense to want to get rid of your shyness.
Getting your conversation skills up to speed is one quick and easy way to start becoming less introverted. In particular, you want to start becoming more impulsive in what you say. While there are some situations, like job interviews, where you want to be very careful about what you say, in most you should focus on talking more often and more spontaneously. This is going to sound bad, but try not to think too much before you speak in informal social situations. If you put too much effort into everything you say, you'll come across as a try-hard. By being spontaneous and just letting the words flow, you become easy-going, which is what people like.
In some situations you can probably already talk to people easily and spontaneously. It could be around your family, your niece or nephew, or talking to a close friend. However, when around people you don't know well or are intimidated of, you aren't able to act the same way. Your shyness gets in the way. A lot of the time, this issue can fix itself through gradual exposure. An intimidating stranger soon become a close friend if you hang around him several times. By spending more time with people you'll start to get the hang of talking to strangers. Believe it or not, how well you make conversation is not a talent you were born with, but a skill set. Just like riding a bicycle, the more you practice this skill set the better you will become and the easier you'll find it to be relaxed around new people
In lowering your levels of nervousness when talking to people, there are many useful techniques to help you relax. Relaxation has the effect of demonstrating to your brain that there is nothing to be afraid of in this situations, which makes your brain's anxiety lessen. You want that: nothing kills feelings of nervousness and anxiety faster than physical relaxation.
Your relaxation routine should be structured in a way that gets you the maximum results in overcoming shyness. It is not an event, it is a process. It is more effective to implement relaxation as a new routine rather than try it out one time incorrectly when you are in the middle of a full-blown anxiety attack. It will be the compounding of accumulated change that yields the most substantial results. Set aside some time every day to practice relaxation. This will let you become relaxed when you are feeling at your most tense and nervous around people.

7 Laws of Sowing and Reaping

You Reap Only What You Sow-
Sowing is a choice. It is intentional and you expect to reap from your efforts. If you sow apple seeds, you will get apples. If you want to be more optimistic sow the seeds of optimism. Sow positive behaviors to reap positive results.
Your thoughts are your seeds. Say to yourself positive affirmations, "I'm super good but I'm getting better", or "I am a positive person who looks for the best outcome in every situation"," the leads are great and there is opportunity in every one of them".
You won't reap bananas from pumpkin seeds, no matter how hard you hope for them. Hope is not a strategy. Hoping customers will buy from you will not create sales.
Know Where To Sow-
Seeds sown on rocks will never bear fruit. Sowing is an investment so be careful where you spend your energy and with whom.
If you want to be successful hang around successful people.
A Farmer Knows His Crop-
Sowing is an investment, so the farmer is careful. He is equipped to sow and reap in accordance with the nature of his crop.
The farmer has the land, has the right equipment, understands the calendar, knows the cultivation schedule, and knows the water and nutrients necessary for the crop to yield its intended result.
If the farmer is careless, if his stewardship falters, he stands to lose everything.
When the Time is Right, Reap-
You reap in a different season than you sow. Plants don't germinate overnight and consequences are often delayed. Focused training should be done in the off season so when the season comes to harvest we are prepared and ready. Weekly meetings are where you water your crops, role playing.
Most people aren't willing to do the hard work it takes to make selling easy or production, service, call center, for that matter. Training is the highest value activity you do in any company or department.
You don't get great at selling (or in any position) in one day you get great at selling day by day.
We Can't Do Anything About Last Year's Harvest-
Life is filled with important choices, and every choice has a consequence, it's cause and effect. It's not about whether last year's harvest was good or bad, it's about how you handled the success or failure of that harvest.
We can do something only about this year's crop (Living in "NOW")... but we can take what we learned last year and make this year's harvest more bountiful.
Life is full of lemon's, it's up to you to make lemonade.
It's important to have the strength and the desire to continue sowing.
Don't Worry About the Weather Or Anything Else-
Worry is wasted effort and the breeding ground of doubt. It can lead you to focus on potential losses rather than effective solutions.
Combat worry by taking positive actions that will prevent worry from happening.
You Reap Much More Than You Sow-
One single seed yields hundreds to thousands of its kind.
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
You can never like anyone else more than you like yourself and don't expect others to like you if you don't hold yourself in high esteem.
These principles can be applied to each and every one of us. They apply to every company in every department in every division. These principles are Biblical - Galatians 6:7, it's Karma also known as Cause and Effect.
You reap what you sow!

Motivation - Myth of Limiting Beliefs

#1 New York Times bestselling author Brendon Burchard discusses why limiting beliefs get too much focus in self-help. The truly motivated, the truly great, rise above such insecurities to serve a grander vision. You are a lion, not a mouse. Focusing on what makes you small or holds you back will do little in comparison to recognizing and amplifying a greater strength and calling within.

Balancing Your Creative Life

Balancing your creative life with your "real" life can be a bit of a tightrope walk. Creatives never stop. Our minds are in full movement from the time we wake up and often as we sleep. Ideas explode as we stand in line at the grocery store, as we fold the wash, as we cut the grass, as we tuck the kids under the covers, as we work our day job, as we cook dinner and the list could go on forever.
Finding balance between these two lives can often be frustrating, can create animosity, can cause depression or anxiety and can make one reevaluate whether the creative life is really worth the pursuit.
Balance can be found between these two lives as long as you're willing to set some priorities and make some sacrifices.
  • Carry a notebook. Always. Write down what's lurking around in your head. The few seconds or minutes are worth the time to keep an idea fresh and go back to it when the timing is more suitable.
  • Create creative time in your daily schedule. If this just means you create on weekends, accept that and don't veer from the commitment. If it means one hour after dinner, accept that. Only you can make the time to participate in your creative life.
  • Create family time. This is the same application as creative time. Commit to it.
  • Recognize your down time. Are you watching too much TV to unwind? Are you surfing the internet to release the tension of the day? Are these activities keeping you from your creative goals?
  • Can you sacrifice an hour of sleep to get back to your creative pursuits? Sleep is just as important as the air we breathe, so ask yourself if you can wake up an hour earlier or go to bed an hour later to instill time for your creative life. But keep in mind, lack of sleep can hinder this venture as well as help it. Make sure you get the sleep you need.
  • Let your family help you find the time to commit to your creativity. Ask them to take on simple tasks you take on yourself to free up a little time for your art.
  • Is your day job affecting your creative life? This one can be a struggle for any creative who wishes to make a career from their art. Keep in mind that the mundane, mind numbing job is your life support at the moment and while you're stuck from 8-5 in someone else's world, your subconscious is continually working in your creative world. Use your notebook. And accept the fact that you have to pay the bills.
  • When you're feeling the effects of frustration, animosity, depression, anxiety or you just wonder if it's worth the challenge, take those feelings and apply them to your art. Creation from these feelings can expose a new point of view that can lead to a deeper creativity worth exploring.
Finding balance between your creative life and your "real" life can be challenging, but you're a creative and it takes creativity to make it happen. Explore ideas that you can implement into your life to create time for your creative life.

Getting Things Changed

Boundaries Can Set You Free

Like many people, Jane started meditating because she knew it would improve her life.

When it was new and the enthusiasm was there, she found it easy. Once the novelty wore off, however, Jane wasn't that excited about meditation anymore.

It didn't feel that great. She tired of it easily.
She couldn't stop wondering what was happening on Facebook.

She quickly found her meditations go from 30 minutes a day to 30 seconds.
"I'm just not in the flow, today," Jane would say as she pulled out the IPad to check her emails.

This approach of "I'll do something when it's going good but quit when it's not going so well" is destroying people's will power – whether they are trying to meditate, paint a portrait or get in shape.
That's why I tell people to time their meditations. Set an alarm. Have a goal. This forces you to say to yourself: "It doesn't matter if

Make Your Life an Exciting Journey of Discovery

When is the right time to begin something new, to break your routine and begin a new adventure? It could be a new business endeavor, moving, or a change in relationship status. It could be a spiritual practice. It might even be taking a vacation for an extended period of time giving you a chance to create a new paradigm for your life.
Think about what goes into getting away. You have to block out a period of time and you have concerns that while you're gone, things will fall apart without you or you'll miss out on that big opportunity.
Changing our patterns for a period of time takes practice. It involves leaving the familiar and exploring new territory, which isn't always comfortable. And there is always that critical voice of judgment that you wish you could silence. "You're not being practical. Wait until the economy picks us. Wait until "this" happens, the "this" being something that might or might not happen in the future. So we hesitate and don't take action. We never reach our full potential. A year goes by and then another and nothing has changed.
There are always going to be voices that get in the way of our moving forward in our lives especially if that is what we focus on. We have to keep filling our tanks on a daily basis with inspiration. Inside of us is another voice that I call the Voice of Inspiration and Praise, VIP, that says, "Yes, you can. You can do it, go for it." The voice that reminds you to have faith that it's all going to work out.
The challenge is to recognize and listen to it. It doesn't necessarily show up in the way we expect and is more prevalent than we realize. It's a voice, an attitude that needs to be cultivated on a daily basis.
As you know I'm a firm believer in synchronicity-those chance encounters that change your life, those remarkable meetings. When I was a young lawyer, one evening a friend told me of a magical swimming hole along a river in Humboldt County. I had just resolved a case that was set for trial and had nothing on my schedule for the next week. I got my car ready, filled up the tank and off I went with my guitar, my dog, and sleeping bag and drove north, arriving at the river just as the sun was setting.
In the morning I awoke at the crack of dawn in search of the swimming hole. I knew that if I hiked upstream I would get there. I continued on my way until a camper offered me some food and coffee. Although I found myself getting hungry and a little bit tired, I said, "No thanks" to the kind invitation, "I want to get to the swimming hole."
After another twenty yards I turned around and said, "That coffee sounds good."
I enjoyed the breakfast. As it turned out, the camper had a guitar and we played music for quite some time. I was full in more ways than one. After thanking the camper, I was ready to be on my way. It was what the camper said in the next few moments that has perhaps made the greatest impact in my life.
"Hey man, the journey you take is probably more important than your destination. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy the journey." I enjoyed the rest of the hike and the swimming hole was fabulous.
Since that meeting, I have taken his advice to heart. It has affected every aspect of my life. There's no better time than now to enjoy your life and experience it as an exciting journey of discovery. Instead of waiting for that ideal relationship, enjoy life exactly as it is. Instead of feeling despair about finding meaning and purpose in your life, enjoy the inquiry. Instead of waiting for that big opportunity, enjoy what you're doing.
There will always be something in the way, which if you focus on it, will affect your ability to enjoy life. You will be tested repeatedly in some manner. Each day you'll have to renew your commitment, but eventually it becomes a way of life. There are eight daily practices and rituals that have supported me on my journey.
1. Take time each day for quiet reflection in the morning including expressing gratitude. It sets the tone for the day.
2. While driving in your car, listen to motivational or conscious music, rather than listening to the news or what's on the various am stations.
3. Make sure that on a daily basis you are in contact with people who inspire and support you. Don't hesitate to take the first step and reach out.
4. Take time to commune in nature.
5. Eat healthy; drink plenty of water and get exercise. This is a choice that you make over and over again that eventually becomes a healthy habit.
6. Don't forget to smile and make sure you make someone else smile.
7. In the evening, take some time to read a personal growth or spiritual book, even if it's just for a few minutes.
8. Reflect upon the most special moment of the day as you are falling asleep. No matter what happened during the day, you have a choice as to how you think about it.
So there you have it. When are you planning your next adventure? You know I love to hear from you. Feel free to share Letters on Life with those in your circle.
Enjoy the journey,
Mark

The 11 Forgotten Laws - Bob Proctor

Stop Begging! Start Manifesting

by <> Gareth John
Do you remember that first spark of hope you felt when you watched The Secret? I clearly remember the desire that filled my heart, knowing that – Yes, I can make my dreams come true – FINALLY!
But how many of you soon saw that hope dwindle into frustration? How many of you (and be honest now) started muttering things like:
- “It seems to work for other people, but I just can’t get it right.”
- “I’m frustrated that sometimes I can get it to work, but sometimes I can’t. What’s the trick?”
- “Why am I having so much trouble?”
- “I think the universe is against me.”
- “I’m trying very, VERY hard but still nothing is happening!”
Don’t worry, you’re not alone. About 97% of people also couldn’t make the Law of Attraction work for them the first time round. Think about it, just like anything else, you have to practice many times before you see success. A child doesn’t learn to walk without falling over a couple of times, right?
But in practice, everything is easier said and done. When you’re frustrated, it’s hard to stay positive. And it’s especially harder to stay positive when the evidence all around you is screams negativity like the unstable economy or senseless acts of violence such as those recently seen in Mumbai.
And do you know what happens when you fail to stay positive? That’s right – you start attracting negative things in to your life.
So how can you make the Law of Attraction work for you – without getting frustrated? How do those who successfully implement the Law of Attraction do it with such confidence and finesse?
Well, here’s three quick tips so you will never feel frustrated or tired of begging from the universe, because you know how to start manifesting like a pro.
1. Allow Yourself To Receive
Just like a lost child who approaches a police officer and asks, “Excuse me Sir, can you tell me how to go to the post office? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you? Can you?” Well, if the child goes on and on asking, the police officer can’t even give an answer, right?
Well, it’s the same thing with your mind. If the only thing your mind is doing is transmit, transmit, transmit, the universe — which is trying to respond — can’t give you a single thing because you’re not allowing yourself to receive!
So, have the confidence in yourself and stop exhausting yourself by running around person to person begging for riches, and then wondering why nobody is dropping a penny in your cup (Hint: It’s because you’re running away too fast for them before they can even reach for their wallets).
Just think of your desires and leave it out there, go away, and trust that your cup will be filled with gold coins (or whatever it is you asked for) when the time is right.

2. Be Patient With Yourself
Receiving takes time.
Sadly, many people give up just a couple of steps before the finish line because they’ve decided that if it’s not working by now, it’s never going to work at all. Worse still are those who throw in more and more energy because they think that with more resources, the results will come faster.
This is like expecting 9 mothers to conceive and deliver a baby in 1 month. You also can’t bake cookies in half the time by doubling the temperature. You’ll incinerate those cookies to ashes!
In simple terms: Everything in this world has a natural development time, and this fact will not change no matter what resources you throw at it.
So relax and be patient. Remember that you too, as part of the universe, are also governed by the laws of the universe, and you cannot change the natural development time.
If you remember this, you will less likely work yourself up into frustration, or worse, push yourself into a downward spiral of negativity.
3. Support and Educate Yourself
Like the child who is learning how to walk, you need support. You also need to guidance on how to do it, and also the role models to look up to.
Many people give up because they think that “The Secret” is the “be all and end all” solution. Well, it’s NOT. “The Secret” is just a small portion. It was never intended, and has never been, the whole answer.
Coming to the conclusion that the Law of Attraction doesn’t work when all you ever did to educate yourself was watch “The Secret” 19 times (without looking at changing the habits of other areas of your life) is like coming to the conclusion that exercising is not an effective way to lose weight because all you did is run on the treadmill for 2 hours a day (but you’re still stuffing yourself with fried foods and cheesecakes).
So seek and be hungry for new knowledge. Also, make an effort to be amongst people or communities where you can support each other, learn from each other and also share new knowledge that you have found.
While the Law of Attraction is not an overnight delivery service, it will indeed deliver, if you do your part too!

Miracle Brain System

When you think about self help, the first couple of names that comes to mind would probably be Tony Robbins and Jim Rohn. Chris D'Cruz is not exactly a new name in the industry, but it's easy to overlook the guy. Which is a shame, because he's come up with some of the best products I've had the privilege to review in recent years.
The creator of Universal Life Secrets - one of the more compelling self help programs I've seen in a while - is back with yet another program, this time one that promises to enhance your brain so that you can perform "miracles" within your life. Sounds ambitious, doesn't it?
I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first. But since Chris managed to wow me with his previous product, I decided to give his latest product, Miracle Brain System, a try.

(Of course, the 60 day money back triple guarantee that he offered was reassuring as well.)
Now what can you expect in the Miracle Brain System?
There are a total of 18 lessons in the Miracle Brain System program, beginning with a few introductory ones that teach you all about harnessing the untapped power of the brain. Chris calls this method the "Miracle Mind Magic Stimulator", presumably because once stimulated, you can use your "miracle mind" to create magic in your life.
As you progress further into the program you'll find that Chris hasn't skimped on anything. There are lessons on how you can use your "miracle mind" to take full control of your body to attain incredible health and vitality, to awaken abilities in you that you didn't think you had, to gain influence over people you may come across in life, to generate incredible wealth...
There are even lessons on how you can create miracles in your sex life!

Every lesson is comprehensive; Chris gives a complete breakdown of everything you need to know in order to harness the power of your enhanced mind, or should I say your "miracle mind", to the fullest. There isn't any jargon to trip over, so practically anyone can understand the lessons taught within the pages of Miracle Brain System.
Chris has also included an additional workbook which you can use to track your progress as you go along, which helps if you're an absolute beginner.
Now, is it effective?
It takes some getting used to (like any other program) but once you're able to follow the techniques down to a tee, you'll notice an amazing difference in your physical and mental states. I applied the techniques taught a week after I completed the entire program, and I found myself becoming more alert, more vibrant, more energized than I'd ever felt in recent years.
Miracle Brain System also comes with a bonus package called the Success Compendium. This bonus package consists of Napoleon Hill's best, most renowned programs. You'll get Think And Grow Rich, The Laws Of Success In 16 Lessons, and Napoleon Hill's Success Philosophies. Like the Miracle Brain System package itself, these bonuses are in digital PDF and MP3 audio formats, so you can just download them into your smartphone or computer, and you're all set. There's no shipping or deliveries involved, which is why Chris is able to give so much value for a fraction of the cost if you were to order a similar package of physical books and CD sets.
Miracle Brain System is definitely another home-run for Chris. If you're nowhere near where you want to be in life, this is the one program that you MUST have.

Succeeding Through Failure

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. --Michael Jordan, Former Professional Basketball Player and Entrepreneur
How did failure get such a bad name? When did it become something to avoid rather than something to learn from? If you fear failure, did this come mostly from your parents or other caregivers, or mostly from your school experience, or both?
I guess I was lucky that my parents didn't care how I did in school. I don't ever remember the word 'failure' being used as I was growing up. It wasn't a concept that I even thought about. My view was that I would keep trying to do something until I became good at it.
I remember that I wanted to get good at free throws. We had a basketball hoop in our back yard; I would spend hours practicing free throws and I finally got really good at it. I can't remember how many I could do in a row, but it was a lot. It never occurred to me that I wouldn't succeed at getting good at it - with enough practice. I did this with many things in my life, and I was able to get good at many things. It didn't matter to me how long it took - what mattered was that each time I 'failed', I learned. I didn't even see it as failure when I missed a shot - it was just a learning experience.
Looking back, this was such a blessing for me. When I read one of my favorite books, "Mindset" by Carol Dweck, I realized what a blessing this part of my childhood really is. People who fear failure have what she calls a 'fixed mindset.' This means that they are so afraid of failure that they never even make the effort to try. If you are stuck in your life, you might be stuck in a fixed mindset, being too afraid to make the effort required to succeed, because you have such a judgment on failure. You might be operating from a belief system that if you can't do something well right away, people will judge you as stupid.
This fear may be keeping you stuck.
People who don't worry about failure have what Dr. Dweck calls a 'growth mindset.' This means that they receive great joy in making effort toward what they want and don't even think about the outcome.
This has been my experience. I don't think much about the outcome, and I receive great joy in the effort. I've found, like Michael Jordan, that I've succeeded due to learning from my many failures, but I actually never even saw them as failures. They were just learning experiences.
If you are stuck in your life, I encourage you to let go of focusing on the outcome and instead focus on the joy of making effort. When you focus on the effort, then you can receive great joy in the process of learning something.
I remember when I was about eight years old and someone gave me a gift of a pogo stick. I decided I wanted to get really good at it, and I had so much fun practicing it over and over. I have no idea how long it took me to get good at it because time wasn't important to me, but eventually I could ride that pogo stick forever without falling. But I had to be willing to fall over and over to reach that goal.
If you are willing to fall or 'fail' over and over, you will eventually get where you want to go!

The Open Ended Question

What is the purpose of the open-ended question and how can you use it to generate infinite possibilities?
The purpose of the open-ended question is simply a way to help you detach from an outcome. Detaching from an outcome allows for the generation of infinite possibilities. The open ended questions help switch the filter of the brain's RAS (Reticular Activation System) which then allows you to change what is embedded and create something new in your reality.
What if you have embedded in your brain that you wanted a brand new Lexus but you had no idea how you would ever be able to own one.
  • They cost so much money.
  • You don't make enough money.
  • You have too much debt.
  • You can't get a loan.
  • You are so depressed.
  • I can't have anything I want.
  • I really want that Lexus. It's on my vision board. I think about every day. I do affirmations. It's still not here.
  • I can only get the Lexus if my ex husband pays me the money he owes me. He is such a jerk. I'm never going to get that Lexus.
  • If I do get the Lexus, the interest is probably going to be too high. With the economy its going to cost too much in gas money.
As you can gather this is the sort of thing that goes on in our head as we see the things around us that we would like to have in our realty. So what is one way we can change our RAS about owning a Lexus?
Notice what you would like to show up in your life. Write something about it. Cut out a picture. Put it on your vision board. Make a mind movie or a power point. Imagine what it feels like to have it or be it (depending on what you would like).
Be grateful for the things you do have etc.
As you are looking at your vision board, mind movie, power point, saying your affirmations, acknowledge I'm going to have this or be this some day no matter where I live or what I am doing, this is mine.
Detach from the outcome - as above where you are trying to solve how its going to come and it can only come if this or that, or it can't show up because - totally detach from the outcome.
To to this - is simple - ask an open-ended question - it's like letting go and letting God.
In the book Jewel of Jamari, Sebastian (who is really God/Spirit) teaches Jamari one question to use to teach him how to detach from an outcome and to lose his limitations. This question is a great tool for allowing you to do just that - let go - and allow in the flow. What would it take for____________________ to show up in my life? and then add or better under the most joyous circumstances.
So in this example it would be: What would it take for a Lexus to show up in my life or better in the most joyous of ways?
When you ask this question you allow your brain to shift focus and filtering gears and it will allow other possibilities to start presenting themselves to you. It's your job to pay attention and follow the leads that are presented to you. You may for instance start getting emails about Lexus cars or seeing them everywhere, that is good, take note because that means you are changing your filtering system to look for the way for the Lexus to show up in your life.
When we add or better this allows for the things we may not of even dreamed of that we would love in addition. When we add in the most joyous circumstance, well we wouldn't want grandma to pass away and leave us her Lexus or for us to be in a car accident and be paralyzed but get a settlement to be able to by a Lexus.
Can you feel the shift in your vibration from that question? A lightness about it where there was previously heaviness as you couldn't perceive how it could become reality. The question puts you in a place of allowance so you become a magnet to attract what you desire. When you are attached to something you repel it. When you are detached you call it forth.
So, you, the deliberate creator that you are, as you set sail on your ship called infinite possibilities towards the horizon, what are some of the things that you would like to show up in your life or better, and what would it take for them to show up in your life under the most joyous circumstances?

How to Create a New Self Image That Supports You

How your self image affects you, your decisions and actions unconsciously.................

Have you noticed that there are people who seem to get all the breaks without putting any effort into anything and there are people who work so hard and always fall short of their goal?

Sometimes you look at a person and you think they have perfect ideal look or talents to be someone special, but then you see someone who you wouldn't give them a second look or even take them serious, but it is the second person who ends up becoming the most successful while the first person is just average and ordinary.

Why is that? What makes some people stand out when everything is against them to succeed then the one with all the opportunities let it slip through their fingers?

5 Key Ingredients in the Recipe for Your Success

When baking something for the first time, it's often important to have a recipe handy to give you some idea of what ingredients are needed and in what quantities. When working on something new and perhaps bigger than what you've done in the past, there are some essential ingredients to include as well:
INNER DRIVE
Your desire and motivation form the basis of your recipe. Only your decision and your choice will allow you to make the necessary changes and/or take the necessary steps. Why would you push yourself to achieve something that doesn't really matter to you or that you don't really care about that much? So before you go any further, focus on getting clear on what you want, deep down, and what makes it so important to you. It's important here to pay attention to what's important to YOU - not the goals that other people will set for you since they won't be nearly as captivating.
STRUCTURE & ACCOUNTABILITY
Many people have goals that they would like to achieve, but without taking purposeful and persistent action, the likelihood of reaching them isn't likely. And just having the "necessary" information may not always be enough. For example, personal trainers know how to exercise. When they would like an extra push, they will sometimes work with other personal trainers. Coaches also often work with other coaches for motivation, intensity and accountability. It's also very helpful to have someone paying attention to the areas you may be blind to in order to draw attention to areas where you might be sabotaging your success.
POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT
As discussed earlier, your own motivation is the biggest factor of your success. But what about those days when you are tempted to give up? When the challenges threaten to push your motivation aside and you just don't feel like doing anything? What or who will push you to do what you need to do in those moments? Having positive people to turn to who can empathize with you but not buy in to your doubts and negative moments can be enormously successful. Having a personal library with inspirational books, images, newsletters and quotes that you can turn to is also a key factor. Relying on your initial motivation alone is not sufficient.
OPEN MIND
If you keep doing what you've always done and cling to it even when it's not working for you, nothing is going to change. On the other hand, If you really, really want to change things, open yourself up to the possibilities of doing different things and doing things differently. This means not automatically dismissing ideas that don't fit with the way you've always done things. This means not assuming that the way you've always done things is the best way. It means paying attention to your blind spot. You can do this through journaling or speaking with a close friend, coach or mentor who might be able to help you see what you are unable to see on your own. By its very definition, seeing what's in your blind spot can be very difficult to do on your own.
PERSONAL AWARENESS
Building on the previous point, each person learns and is motivated differently. What works best for someone else may not be the right choice for you. Pay attention to where you excel and where you find yourself challenged. Set up the structure and system that works best for you, often a process that is developed through some trial and error. Look at where you are holding yourself back, and try to figure out the real reasons for this so that you can address them and move forward.
With the key ingredients of strong personal motivation + structure & accountability + positive reinforcement + an open mind + personal awareness = increased likelihood of true personal and inner success.
What other ingredients for success would you add?
